Crimein's eyes were clearly bulging with horror. Dheity shut his eyes from the cruelty, to almost block it from his thoughts, this however, did not work. Flashes of images sprung in his mind, like traps wanting to catch him into thinking of them. Dheity bit his tongue to spring his mind back from the depths of shadow in his thoughts. He grabbed Crimeins hands and led him toward the river, to hopefully, safety.

Crimien shuddered as he let Dheity lead him through the water. His clothes clinged to his skin, making him shudder. Diluted blood flowed, in patches, around him. He looked up to the skies to gather hope from the fleeing birds, or the tall, endless looking trees.
As Crimien waded, looking up, Dheity looked behind, and wished he hadn't. From here he could see smoke and fire, raging through the treetops, causing havoc to the animals above and below them. Dheity's heart panged, wishing Yuio, god of the trees, to save them. Nothing came, so, Dheity dragged his friend through the last tangle of deep water to the edge of the river.

Crimein sighed as he got out of the water, and picked himself from the ground and trudged on towards the trees. Tears rolled down his face, he grabbed a leaf quickly and wiped them away. A man does not cry, he told himself, a man is as strong as a tree and as vast as an ocean floor.
Dheity proped himself up, using a nearby stick his clothes dragged him down still, but at least he had a support.
"Where are you going Crimien?" He managed to say while flicking a leaf out of his hair.
"Away, we must, get away from them." Crimein looked round, and noticed his friend nodding.
Dheity had got himself up and started running after Crimien and caught up, cold air striking his water drenched chest as he did so.
"It's so cold, they do not seem to have spotted us. But i'm sure we must run from them, you are right. I just need to dry my clothes, somehow." Dheity said, and Crimien nodded in agreement.
"There is a tree, up ahead that may be useful, it seems to be some kind of lookout, some use that was." Crimien said disgruntled slightly.
Dheity began running again, following Crimien, who seemed un-affected by the cold air. Crimein shot up a tree, pouncing on it, like a preying matice would do to prey.
Dheity followed, less fluidly, into the wooden hut.
A fly was the only inhabitants to which Crimein could see in the hut. Just the faint humming sound filled the cold air. Dheity entered flinging his shirt and shorts into a corner and grabbing some garders' clothes that lay in the corner. Pulling them onto him, making them slightly damp. Crimein still had his clothes on although there were half a dozen extra lookout clothes, he was staring out of the window.
"What's wrong?" Dheity asked throwing some clothes at the wall.
"Those women."
"Yes."
"They were dead Dheity, Dead! How can you be so full of joy?!"
"Firey blood! I'm not full of joy? Do you think i wanted to see, Gein and Yui lying in the river like that?! The first time i thought i'd see them naked, i did not think it would be there bodies! I cannot believe you would think that!"
"Look, I am sorry. I am just caught up in the moment." Dheity's expression did not change, "honestly," Crimein said, "I'm sorry!"
"Do not shout!" Dheity hissed. "There are people below, i hear them. Maybe they're our tribe."
